Anti Fraud and Artificial Streaming Policy
This policy applies to every Crowntune account and release and forms part of the Terms of Service. Artificial engagement, infringement, and payment abuse can expose CROWNTUNE DISTRIBUTION LLC and its partners to penalties, claims, and restrictions. We may take protective action before an investigation or Platform review is complete.
Prohibited activity
Do not purchase, arrange, encourage, or participate in artificial streams, downloads, follows, saves, playlist activity, or other engagement. Prohibited methods include bots, click or stream farms, scripts, coordinated account networks, revenue-generating playback loops, device or location manipulation, misleading traffic, and incentives that violate Platform rules. Do not use services offering guaranteed plays or prohibited paid playlist placement, manipulate metadata, submit content you do not control, misuse payment details, or evade account restrictions. Advertising and genuine listening must comply with the relevant Platform's rules.
You are responsible for the promoters, managers, agencies, and other people you engage or authorize. Calling a service “organic” does not establish compliance. Keep campaign and rights records and provide them when requested. A claim that you did not authorize suspicious activity does not require Crowntune or a Platform to credit invalid streams, release a reserve, or continue distribution. Report suspected abuse promptly to legal@crowntune.com.
Detection and cooperation
We may use Platform reports, automated alerts, traffic patterns, account history, claims, payment information, and other available information to assess risk. We may request advertising invoices, campaign links, rights documents, identity checks, and explanations. You must cooperate and provide complete, accurate responses. We may rely on a Platform's determination without conducting a separate investigation, and we do not guarantee that Platforms will disclose their evidence or reverse a decision. We may share relevant information with partners, advisers, authorities, and claimants as permitted by law and our privacy notices.
Protective action and financial consequences
At our discretion and subject to applicable law, suspected activity, a complaint, a Platform alert, a breach, or a failure to provide requested information may lead to rejection or removal of releases, suspension of delivery or withdrawals, account closure, and holds or reserves against part or all of the account balance. Protective action does not require a final finding of fraud or proof that you acted intentionally. Restrictions can affect other releases in the same account where needed to address account risk or potential liability.
The Terms of Service govern holds, reserves, deductions, and recovery. We may recover Platform penalties, chargebacks, reversed or invalid revenue, refunds, overpayments, and covered losses and reasonable investigation or legal expenses. These amounts may be offset against current or future earnings, and you remain responsible for a shortfall. A temporary reserve covers potential exposure; a final deduction reflects an amount recoverable under the Terms. Revenue a Platform rejects, recovers, or requires us to return is not payable to you.
Information and further review
You may send relevant evidence to legal@crowntune.com with account and release identifiers. We may consider further information, request clarification, or refer a matter to the relevant Platform. Except where required by law, no fixed investigation deadline, automatic release of funds, advance notice, or internal appeal is promised. We may restrict disclosure of confidential reports, detection methods, third-party information, or information relating to legal proceedings. Applicable privacy rights remain available under the regional notices.
Do not open a replacement account or resubmit material to avoid a restriction. Account closure does not cancel an existing reserve or repayment obligation. Crowntune cannot compel a Platform to reinstate material or pay revenue it has refused or reversed.
